Transliteration

evā́ pāhi pratná-thā mándatu tvā śrudhí bráhma vāvṛdhasvóta gī́rbhiḥ | āvíḥ sū́ryaṃ kṛṇuhí pīpihī́ṣo jahí śátrūn abhí gā́ indra tṛndhi ||

Translation

Demikianlah, jagalah dan terimalah ia seperti dahulu; biarlah ia menyukakanmu—dengarlah mantra dan bertumbuhlah oleh kidung-kidung kami. Nyatakanlah Surya; dengan Soma yang mengembang, hantamlah musuh-musuh; halaukanlah sinar-sinar/“sapi-sapi” itu kepada kami, wahai Indra.
