अग्ने अपां समिध्यसे दुरोणे नित्यः सूनो सहसो जातवेदः । सधस्थानि महयमान ऊती ॥

agne apā́m sám idhyase duroṇé nítyaḥ sū́no sahaso jā́tavedāḥ | sadhásthāni maháyamāna ūtī́ ||

Wahai Agni, Engkau dinyalakan di rumah, di tengah perairan; kekal abadi, wahai putra daya, Jātavedas—yang mengetahui segala kelahiran. Engkau membesarkan singgasana-singgasana bersama dari keberadaan, dan meluaskannya dengan perlindungan serta pertolongan pemeliharaan-Mu.
