स संनयः स विनयः पुरोहितः स सुष्टुतः स युधि ब्रह्मणस्पतिः । चाक्ष्मो यद्वाजं भरते मती धनादित्सूर्यस्तपति तप्यतुर्वृथा ॥

Transliteration

sá saṃnáyaḥ sá vináyaḥ puróhitaḥ sá suṣṭútaḥ sá yudhí bráhmaṇas pátiḥ | cākṣmó yád vā́jaṃ bhárate matī́ dhánād ít sū́ryas tapati tapyátur vṛ́thā ||

Translation

Dialah pemimpin, dialah penuntun bijak, yang ditempatkan di depan; dialah yang dipuji dengan sempurna, dialah Brahmaṇaspati dalam pertempuran. Ketika ia membawa vāja—kelimpahan daya—oleh ilham pikiran, maka bahkan panas Sang Surya pun sia-sia melawan perolehan itu.
