अयमग्निरुरुष्यत्यमृतादिव जन्मनः । सहसश्चित्सहीयान्देवो जीवातवे कृतः ॥

ayám agnír uruṣyaty amṛ́tād iva jánmanaḥ | sáhasaś cit sahī́yān devó jī́vātave kṛtáḥ ||

Agni ini meluaskan dan menjaga keberadaan kita, seakan lahir dari keabadian itu sendiri. Bahkan lebih kuat daripada kekuatan, sang dewa dibentuk di dalam diri kita agar kita sungguh hidup (dalam hidup yang lebih agung).
