वि दुर्गा वि द्विषः पुरो घ्नन्ति राजान एषाम् । नयन्ति दुरिता तिरः ॥

Transliteration

ví durgā́ ví dvíṣaḥ puró ghnanti rājāna eṣām | náyanti duritā́ tiráḥ ||

Translation

Mereka membentangkan jalan-jalan yang sukar; mereka meremukkan benteng-benteng permusuhan di hadapan kita; para raja ini menuntun kesukaran kita melampaui dan menyeberanginya.
