Transliteration

lagnam utkarṣataḥ khaḍgaṃ khaḍgena kapikuñjaraḥ |

jahāra saśirastrāṇaṃ kuṇḍalopahitaṃ śiraḥ ||6.98.33||

Translation

Ketika ia menarik pedang yang tersangkut untuk melepaskannya, Sugrīva—laksana gajah di antara para kera—menebas dengan pedangnya sendiri dan memenggal kepala Mahodara, berhiaskan anting dan terlindung helm.
