tatas te vānarāḥ sarve śoṇitaugha-pariplutāḥ |
dhvaja-varma-rathān aśvān nānā-praharaṇāni ca |
āplutyāplutya samare vānarendrā babhañcire ||
Demikian pula: semua vānarā yang bermandikan aliran darah melompat berulang-ulang dalam pertempuran; para pemimpin vānarā meremukkan panji, zirah, kereta perang, kuda, dan beragam senjata.
