Great selfHanuman too became furious and dismounting Lakshmana from his back uprooted a sala tree from a mountain and went on exterminating thousands of Rakshasas.
The verse highlights dharmic use of power: strength is directed toward protecting allies and resisting aggression, not for personal gain.
Hanumān transitions from carrying Lakṣmaṇa to active combat, using a tree as a weapon to break enemy formations.
Readiness and selfless service—Hanumān’s quick judgment in balancing care (for Lakṣmaṇa) with decisive action (against the rākṣasas).
