इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः
Indrajit’s Brahmastra Rite and the Crushing of the Vanara Host
असौपुनर्लक्ष्मणराक्षसेन्द्रोब्रह्मास्त्रमाश्रित्यसुरेन्द्रशत्रुः ।निपातयित्वाहरिसैन्यमुग्रमस्मान्शरैरर्दयतिप्रसक्तः ।।।।
asau punar lakṣmaṇa rākṣasendro
brahmāstram āśritya surendraśatruḥ |
nipātayitvā harisainyam ugraṃ
asmān śarair ardayati prasaktaḥ ||
“Wahai Lakṣmaṇa, raja rākṣasa itu—musuh Indra—telah berlindung pada Brahmāstra. Setelah merobohkan pasukan vānara yang garang, kini ia tanpa henti menyiksa kita dengan panah-panahnya.”
"Lakshmana! Rakshasa king, an enemy of Indra afflicted the Vanaras with the Brahmastram secured by him. Using that power, he is tormenting us with sharp arrows."
