महोदर-वाक्यं कुम्भकर्ण-प्रतिषेधः
Mahodara’s Counsel and the Critique of Kumbhakarna’s Solo Assault
कुम्भकर्णकुलेजातोधृष्टःप्राकृतदर्शनः ।अवलिप्तो न शक्नोषिकृत्यंसर्वत्रवेदितुम् ।।6.64.2।।
kumbhakarṇakule jāto dhṛṣṭaḥ prākṛtadarśanaḥ |
avalipto na śaknoṣi kṛtyaṃ sarvatra veditum ||6.64.2||
Wahai Kumbhakarṇa! Walau terlahir dari keturunan mulia, engkau lancang dan berpandangan rendah; karena mabuk kesombongan, engkau tak mampu memahami dalam perkara apa pun apa yang seharusnya dilakukan.
"Kumbhakarna! Although you are born of noble race, you are insolent, seeing your low intellect in all aspects you have no knowledge of what should be done or not to be done."
