अकम्पन-प्रेषणम् तथा कपि-राक्षस-रणवर्णनम्

तेषांयुद्धंमहारौद्रंसञ्जज्ञेकपिरक्षसाम् ।।।।रामरावणयोरर्धेसमभित्यक्तजीविनाम् ।

Transliteration

teṣāṃ yuddhaṃ mahāraudraṃ sañjajñe kapi-rakṣasām |

rāma-rāvaṇayor arthe samabhityakta-jīvinām ||6.55.15||

Translation

Maka pecahlah pertempuran yang amat mengerikan antara para kapi dan rākṣasa—para pejuang yang telah mempertaruhkan nyawa demi pihak Rāma dan pihak Rāvaṇa masing-masing.
