युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः

आवृतस्सगिरिस्सर्वैस्सैस्समन्तात् प्लवङ्गमैः ।।6.41.52।।अयुतानांसहस्रंचपुरींतामभ्यवर्तत ।
āvṛtaḥ sa giriḥ sarvais tais samantāt plavaṅgamaiḥ | ayutānāṃ sahasraṃ ca purīṃ tām abhyavartata ||6.41.52||
Gunung itu pun terkepung dari segala sisi oleh para plavaṅgama yang melompat-lompat itu; dan mereka berbondong-bondong, ribuan demi ribuan, mendesak maju menuju kota beserta benteng pertahanannya yang luas.
