Malyavan’s Counsel, Portents in Laṅkā, and the Proposal of Alliance
वीचीकूचीतिवाश्य्नत्यश्शारिकावेश्मसुस्थिताः ।पतन्तिग्रथिताश्चापिनिर्जिताःकलहैषिणः ।।।।
vīcīkūcīti vāśyantyaḥ śārikā veśmasu sthitāḥ | patanti grathitāś cāpi nirjitāḥ kalahaiṣiṇaḥ ||
Burung myna yang tinggal di rumah-rumah menjerit dengan suara ganjil; bahkan burung-burung yang suka bertikai pun, terjerat dalam perkelahian, jatuh tersungkur—terkalahkan—ini pun pertanda buruk.
