नीलानिवमहामेघांस्तिष्ठतोयांस्तुपश्यसि ।।।।असिताञ्जनसङ्काशान् युद्धेसत्यपराक्रमान् ।असङ् ख्येयाननिर्देश्यान्परंपारमिवोदधेः ।।।।पर्वतेषुचयेकेचिद्विषमेषुनदीषुच ।एतेत्वामभिवर्तन्तेराजन्नृक्षास्सुदारुणाः ।।।।
nīlān iva mahāmeghāṃs tiṣṭhato yāṃs tu paśyasi |
asitāñjanasaṅkāśān yuddhe satyaparākramān |
asaṅkhyeyān anirdeśyān paraṃ pāram ivodadheḥ |
parvateṣu ca ye kecid viṣameṣu nadīṣu ca |
ete tvām abhivartante rājan ṛkṣāḥ sudāruṇāḥ || 6.27.5–7 ||
Wahai Rājan, mereka yang engkau lihat berdiri itu bagaikan awan badai yang gelap; hitam laksana anjana, dan di medan perang berani dengan daya yang tak pernah goyah. Mereka tak terhitung dan tak terlukiskan, seperti tepi seberang samudra. Dari pegunungan serta dari medan sungai yang terjal dan sukar, beruang-beruang yang amat garang itu sedang maju menghampirimu.
"O King! Standing like dark clouds, black in colour like collyrium, who are of unfailing valour in war, innumerable in numbers, like the small particles of sand on the other bank of ocean, who cannot be counted are moving towards you. They are from mountains, riverbanks, and difficult locations. Those highly ferocious Bears are advancing towards you."
