लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च
Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation
पश्यमत्तविहाङ्गानिप्रलीनभ्रमराणिच ।कोकिलाकुलषण्डानिदोधवीतिशिवोऽनिलः ।।।।
paśya mattavihāṅgāni pralīnabhramarāṇi ca | kokilākulaṣaṇḍāni dodhavīti śivo 'nilaḥ ||6.24.12||
Lihatlah—burung-burung yang gagah dan kawanan lebah yang larut di dalam bunga; rumpun-rumpun yang dipenuhi burung kukuk bergoyang ketika angin sepoi yang lembut dan menenteramkan menggetarkannya.
"You may see the trees shaking violently by the pleasant breeze, inhabited by proud birds, drunken honeybees and crowded with cuckoos and other birds (Rama said to Lakshmana)."
Dharma includes cultivated awareness: even in conflict, a disciplined mind observes clearly without losing purpose or compassion.
Rāma draws Lakṣmaṇa’s attention to Laṅkā’s natural beauty—birds, bees, and breeze—while surveying the region before action.
Composure and attentiveness—seeing reality fully rather than being consumed only by anger or fear.
