सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
तमश्चलोकमाव्रतेदिशश्चवचकाशिरे ।प्रतिचुक्षुभिरेचाशुसरांसिसरितस्तथा ।।।।
tamaś ca lokam āvṛte diśaś ca na cakāśire | praticukṣubhire cāśu sarāṃsi saritas tathā ||
Kegelapan menyelimuti dunia; arah-arah pun tak lagi tampak jelas, dan dengan segera danau-danau serta sungai-sungai turut bergelora.
