सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
ततोमथ्यात्समुद्रस्यसागरस्स्वयमुत्थितः ।उदयन् हिमहाशैलान्मेरोरिवदिवाकरः ।।।।
tato madhyāt samudrasya sāgaraḥ svayam utthitaḥ |
udayan himahāśailān meror iva divākaraḥ ||
Lalu dari tengah lautan, Sāgara—Dewa Penguasa Samudra—bangkit dengan sendirinya; bagaikan matahari terbit di atas pegunungan bersalju Meru yang agung.
Then the Lord of the Ocean shining like the Vaidurya stone decked in pure gold as if blazing appeared along with serpents.
