Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
दिनिर्यातितातेस्वासतीतारामायमैथिली ।।।।ननस्स्याद्व्यसनंघोरमिदंमूलहरंमहत् ।
niryātitā te svā sītā rāmāya maithilī |
na naḥ syād vyasanaṃ ghoram idaṃ mūlaharaṃ mahat ||6.113.20||
Seandainya engkau mengembalikan Sita dari Mithila—istri sah Rama—kepada Rama, niscaya malapetaka dahsyat yang mencabut kita sampai ke akar ini tidak akan menimpa kami.
"If Sita, princess of Mithila had been returned by you, this great destruction of the very root and calamity with you and for us would not have happened."
