On seeing Mahodara and Mahaparsva killed in the great war, Virupaksha of extraordinary might also killed, Ravana was highly infuriated and addressed the charioteer in the following words.
Unrestrained anger (krodha) clouds judgment and hastens ruin; dharma in war requires disciplined mind and righteous cause, not rage-driven escalation.
After key Rākṣasa warriors are slain, Rāvaṇa becomes furious and commands his charioteer, preparing further action.
By contrast (negative emphasis), the lack of self-control is highlighted—Rāvaṇa is shown as overtaken by krodha.
