At the instance of Varuna, (the presiding deity of the ocean) the lofty mountain appeared, projecting its peaks, hitherto submerged in the water. The golden peaks inhabited by nagas and kinnaras resemmbled the rising Sun as though scraping the sky in a moment.
As a repeated passage, it reinforces the same dhārmic motif: the world’s forces cooperate to assist a righteous messenger.
The narration continues to dwell on Maināka’s emergence, emphasizing the grandeur of the supportive sign.
Consistency in support—help offered without hesitation, highlighted through repetition.
