मैत्रीप्रतिज्ञा-वैरकारणप्रश्नः
Friendship Vow and Inquiry into the Cause of Enmity
तद्विनाशाद्धि मे दुःखं प्रणष्टं स्यादनन्तरम्।सुखं मे जीवितं चैव तद्विनाशनिबन्धनम्।।
tad-vināśād dhi me duḥkhaṁ praṇaṣṭaṁ syād anantaram |
sukhaṁ me jīvitaṁ caiva tad-vināśa-nibandhanam ||
Hanya dengan kebinasaannya dukaku akan lenyap seketika; kebahagiaanku—bahkan hidupku—bergantung pada kebinasaan itu.
'This what I had to tell you out of sorrow. This is how my sorrow will end. In joy and in sorrow your friend is your refuge.
