पञ्चषष्टितमः सर्गः — वानराणां प्लवन-पराक्रम-निरूपणम्

न हि प्रेषयिता तात स्वामी प्रेष्यः कथञ्चन।भवताऽयं जनस्सर्वः प्रेष्यः प्लवगसत्तम।।4.65.22।।
na hi preṣayitā tāta svāmī preṣyaḥ kathañcana |
bhavatā ’yaṃ janaḥ sarvaḥ preṣyaḥ plavagasattama ||
Wahai yang terkasih, sang pemerintah—tuan—tak patut sekali-kali diutus sebagai pesuruh. Wahai yang terbaik di antara para pelompat, justru seluruh pasukan inilah yang patut engkau utus.
