अङ्गदोपदेशः समुद्रदर्शन-विषादश्च
Angada’s Counsel and the Vanaras’ Despondency at the Ocean
तस्यां रात्र्यां व्यतीतायामङ्गदो वानरैस्सह।हरिवृद्धैस्समागम्य पुनर्मन्त्रममन्त्रयत्।।।।
tasyāṃ rātryāṃ vyatītāyām aṅgado vānaraissaha | harivṛddhaiḥ samāgamya punar mantram amantrayat ||
Setelah malam itu berlalu, Aṅgada bersama para vānarā berkumpul dengan para sesepuh, lalu sekali lagi bermusyawarah mencari nasihat.
The army of monkeys encircled Angada like the army of Maruts surrounding Indra.
Responsible leadership through consultation: dharmic action is supported by seeking wise counsel rather than acting from impulse or fear.
At the seashore, after a tense pause, Aṅgada reconvenes the elders to decide how to proceed with the ocean-crossing and the search for Sītā.
Prudence and respect for elders (vinaya and nīti): Aṅgada anchors decision-making in collective wisdom.
