FAQs

Dharma includes fidelity to bonds of friendship and compassion toward suffering; ignoring another’s distress is ethically blameworthy.

Sampāti recalls hearing Sītā’s lament and recognizing Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s separation from her, yet feeling displeased with his son’s failure to respond fittingly.

Loyalty grounded in gratitude—honouring Daśaratha’s friendship by acting compassionately toward his son’s ordeal.
