दक्षिणदिशि सीतान्वेषण-आदेशः
Commissioning the Southern Search for Sītā
राजधानी यमस्यैषा कष्टेन तमसा वृता।एतावदेव युष्माभिर्वीरा वानरपुङ्गवाः।।।।शक्यं विचेतुं गन्तुं वा नातो गतिमतां गतिः।
rājadhānī yamasyaiṣā kaṣṭena tamasā vṛtā |
ētāvad eva yuṣmābhir vīrā vānarapuṅgavāḥ |
śakyaṃ vicetuṃ gantuṃ vā nāto gatimatāṃ gatiḥ ||
Inilah ibu kota Dewa Yama, terselubung oleh kegelapan yang berat dan menyesakkan. Wahai para pahlawan, pemuka kaum wanara, hanya sampai sejauh inilah kalian dapat menelusuri atau melangkah; melampaui ini tiada jalan, bahkan bagi yang bergerak paling cepat.
'The divine people who have earned a place in heaven stay there at the end of their life on earth. Beyond, lies the dreadful world of deceased ancestors. It is not possible for you to enter that place.
