Mobilization and Counsel on Kingship
स लक्ष्मणो भीमबलं सर्ववानरसत्तमम्।अब्रवीत्प्रश्रितं वाक्यं सुग्रीवं सम्प्रहर्षयन्।।4.38.3।।किष्किन्धाया विनिष्क्राम यदि ते सौम्य रोचते।
sa lakṣmaṇo bhīmabalaṃ sarvavānarasattamam | abravīt praśritaṃ vākyaṃ sugrīvaṃ sampraharṣayan || kiṣkindhāyā viniṣkrāma yadi te saumya rocate ||
Maka Lakṣmaṇa yang berkekuatan dahsyat berkata dengan sopan kepada Sugrīva, yang utama di antara para wanara, sambil menyenangkan hatinya: “Wahai yang lembut budi, jika berkenan, keluarlah dari Kiṣkindhā.”
'O Rama valiant bears of fierce appearance, also golangulas (a variety of monkeys with tails like cows') familiar with the inaccessible fortresses of forest have come. These monkeys are sons of divine beings and gandharvas who can assume any form at will. They are on their way along with their armies.
Dharma is disciplined speech and respectful approach: even when urgency exists, one should invite cooperation through courtesy rather than coercion.
Lakshmana addresses Sugriva to come out from Kishkindha, setting the stage for coordination and action in Rama’s mission.
Maryādā (propriety) in conduct—Lakshmana combines strength with polite, purposeful communication.
