वाच्यं यदनुरक्तेन स्निग्धेन च हितेन च।सत्यविक्रमयुक्तेन तदुक्तं लक्ष्मण त्वया4.27.42।।

Transliteration

vācyaṃ yad anuraktena snigdhena ca hitena ca |

satyavikramayuktena tad uktaṃ lakṣmaṇa tvayā || 4.27.42 ||

Translation

Wahai Lakṣmaṇa, apa yang engkau ucapkan itulah yang patut diucapkan—lahir dari bhakti dan kasih sayang, dari seorang yang sungguh menghendaki kebaikan, serta berhiaskan keberanian yang teguh dalam kebenaran.
