प्रस्रवणगिरिवासवर्णनम्
Residence on Mount Prasravana; Counsel during the Rains
शतशः पक्षिसङ्घैश्च नानानादैर्विनादिता।एकैकमनुरक्तैश्च चक्रवाकैरलङ्कृता।।4.27.20।।पुलिनैरतिरम्यैश्च हंससारससेवितैः।प्रहसन्तीवभात्येषा नारी सर्वविभूषिता।।4.27.21।।
śataśaḥ pakṣi-saṅghaiś ca nānā-nādair vināditā |
ekaikam anuraktaiś ca cakravākair alaṅkṛtā || 4.27.20 ||
pulinair ati-ramyaiś ca haṃsa-sārasa-sevitaiḥ |
prahasantīva bhāty eṣā nārī sarva-vibhūṣitā || 4.27.21 ||
Sungai ini bergema oleh aneka kicau dari ratusan kawanan burung, serta dihias oleh pasangan cakravāka yang saling setia. Dengan gosong-gosong pasir yang amat elok, didatangi angsa dan burung sārasa, ia berkilau seakan seorang wanita berhias sempurna yang tersenyum dan tertawa lembut.
