गङ्गा-प्रभवप्रश्नः, शिवतेजोधारणं, कार्त्तिकेय-जन्म, उमाशापः

अभिगम्य सुरास्सर्वे प्रणिपत्येदमब्रुवन्।देव देव महादेव लोकस्यास्य हिते रत ।।।।सुराणां प्रणिपातेन प्रसादं कर्तुमर्हसि।

Transliteration

abhigamya surāḥ sarve praṇipatya idam abruvan | deva deva mahādeva lokasyāsya hite rata | surāṇāṃ praṇipātena prasādaṃ kartum arhasi ||

Translation

Semua dewa mendekat, bersujud, lalu berkata: “Wahai Dewa para dewa, wahai Mahādeva, yang senantiasa berkenan pada kesejahteraan dunia ini; berkenanlah menganugerahkan rahmat kepada kami para sura yang bersujud.”
