Transliteration

tena tatra praṇādena duḥkhitaḥ sa mahīpatiḥ | ciccheda jīvite śraddhāṃ dharme yaśasi cātmanaḥ ||

Translation

Tersentak oleh jerit yang menggema di sana, sang raja yang diliputi duka memutus segala harapan pada hidup—bahkan pada dharmanya sendiri dan pada kehormatannya pula.
