The Glory of Dhātrī (Āmalakī) and Tulasī: Ekādaśī Observance and Protection from Preta States

संयते पारणे चैव धात्र्येकस्पर्शने नरः । भुक्त्वा तु लंघयेद्यस्तु एकादश्यां सितासिते

saṃyate pāraṇe caiva dhātryekasparśane naraḥ | bhuktvā tu laṃghayedyastu ekādaśyāṃ sitāsite

Seseorang yang menahan diri saat parāṇa dan hanya menyentuh satu buah dhātrī—bila setelah makan ia melanggar tata laku Ekādaśī, baik pada paruh terang maupun paruh gelap, maka ia menanggung cela (dosa).
