Puṣkara Mahatmya: Brahmā’s Lotus-Tīrtha, Sacrifice, Initiation, and Kṣetra-Dharma

जगतोऽनुग्रहार्थाय वासं तत्रान्वरोचयत् । पुष्करं नाम तत्तीर्थं क्षेत्रं वृषभमेव च

jagato'nugrahārthāya vāsaṃ tatrānvarocayat | puṣkaraṃ nāma tattīrthaṃ kṣetraṃ vṛṣabhameva ca

Demi kesejahteraan jagat, Ia memilih bersemayam di sana. Titik suci itu dinamai Puṣkara, dan wilayah keramat (kṣetra) itu pun disebut Vṛṣabha.
