FAQs

It is a colophon: a standard chapter-ending line that identifies the Purāṇa, the khaṇḍa (book/section), and the chapter title and number.

The Maruts are a group of storm and wind deities (often associated with Indra) frequently mentioned in Vedic and Purāṇic literature.

This specific śloka functions as a structural marker rather than a doctrinal statement; it mainly preserves textual organization and chapter identification.
