Brahmā’s Discourse to Mohinī

Harivāsara, Desire, and the Satya-Test of Rukmāṅgada

पर्वापेक्षी दुराचारः स याति नरकं ध्रुवम् । त्रिरात्रमपविद्धाहं त्वया भूप उपोषणात् ॥ ६५ ॥

parvāpekṣī durācāraḥ sa yāti narakaṃ dhruvam | trirātramapaviddhāhaṃ tvayā bhūpa upoṣaṇāt || 65 ||

Orang berperilaku buruk yang berpuasa hanya demi menanti hari perayaan, pasti jatuh ke neraka. Wahai raja, karena puasamu aku telah disingkirkan dan terabaikan selama tiga malam.
