Vasu
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It introduces the dharmic principle that pilgrimage bears fruit when undertaken at the right time and in the right manner, as sanctioned by divine and traditional authority.
By framing yātrā as a disciplined sacred act with divinely recognized timing, it supports bhakti as regulated devotion—where sincerity is joined with proper observance to yield fitting spiritual results.
The focus is on choosing the correct yātrā-kāla, aligning with Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology/timekeeping) as a practical aid for determining auspicious periods for religious journeys and rites.
