Prabodhinī Ekādaśī, Kārtika-vrata, and Satya-dharma
सत्येन सूर्यस्तपति शशी सत्येनराजते । सत्ये स्थिता क्षितिर्भूप सत्यं धारयते जगत् ॥ ८६ ॥
satyena sūryastapati śaśī satyenarājate | satye sthitā kṣitirbhūpa satyaṃ dhārayate jagat || 86 ||
Oleh kebenaran Matahari memberi panas; oleh kebenaran Bulan bersinar. Wahai raja, Bumi tegak dalam kebenaran; kebenaranlah yang menopang jagat raya.

It presents satya (truth) as a cosmic principle: the stability of the luminaries and the Earth is poetically grounded in truth, teaching that personal and social dharma must rest on सत्य to sustain order and spiritual progress.
Bhakti in the Purāṇic framework is not mere emotion; it is lived integrity. By asserting that the world is upheld by satya, the verse implies that devotion becomes steady and fruitful when aligned with truthful speech, conduct, and vows (vrata).
Indirectly it echoes Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology/astronomy): Sun and Moon govern time and ritual calendars, and the verse frames their dependable order as rooted in satya—encouraging truthful observance of rites and calendrical duties.
