प्रातरेकादशी प्राप्ता मा कृथा भोजनं क्वचित् । ब्रह्महत्यादिपापानि कामकारकृतानि च ॥ ३६ ॥
prātarekādaśī prāptā mā kṛthā bhojanaṃ kvacit | brahmahatyādipāpāni kāmakārakṛtāni ca || 36 ||
Saat pagi Ekādaśī tiba, jangan makan kapan pun dan di mana pun. Dengan demikian, dosa seperti brahmahatyā dan pelanggaran berat lain—bahkan yang dilakukan karena nafsu—lenyap.
