Dialogue of Father and Son (Pitṛputra-saṃvāda) — Mohinī Episode
Narada (as an elder advisor questioning a householder/son figure in a dharma-inquiry style)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It frames household life as a field of dharma: harmony in the family (listening to elders, fidelity in marriage) and fairness in society (impartial judgment in community conflicts) are treated as spiritually meaningful disciplines.
While not explicitly naming Vishnu-bhakti, it supports bhakti through śīla (character): devotion is stabilized by truthful, non-partisan conduct and by preserving peace in the home and among the learned—qualities praised across Purāṇic devotion.
The verse is primarily nīti and sadācāra rather than a technical Vedāṅga lesson; practically, it implies dharma-based adjudication (fair hearing, avoidance of पक्षपात/bias) when disputes arise among brāhmaṇas.
