The Description of the Glory of Dvādaśī

एष प्रभावो हि मया द्वादश्याः परिकीर्तितः । पापेंधनस्य घोरस्य पावकाख्यो महीपते ॥ २४ ॥

eṣa prabhāvo hi mayā dvādaśyāḥ parikīrtitaḥ | pāpeṃdhanasya ghorasya pāvakākhyo mahīpate || 24 ||

Wahai raja, demikian telah kukisahkan daya Dvādaśī; ia disebut ‘pāvaka’, api yang membakar habis bahan bakar dosa yang mengerikan.
