Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It lays out a complete sādhana cycle—japa for inner purification, homa as consecrated offering of the japa’s power, and final worship in a kṣetra to seal the practice through devotion and sanctified presence.
Bhakti is expressed as disciplined worship: sustained mantra repetition, offering to Agni with reverence, and then honoring the deity in a sacred place—showing devotion as both inner remembrance and outward pūjā.
It reflects Kalpa/Vaidika ritual method: the prescribed ratio of homa to japa (one-tenth), the use of caru and ghee as ritual materials, and the ordered sequence of rites culminating in kṣetra-arcana.
