It emphasizes that true worship is marked by paramā-bhakti (supreme devotion) and proper completion of ritual honour (saṃpūjā), showing devotion as the inner force behind outer ceremonial acts.
Bhakti is presented as the qualifying power that makes worship effective—external pūjā is performed, but it is ‘supreme devotion’ that defines the worshipper’s spiritual state.
It reflects ritual organization—distinguishing ‘outside’ worship and the proper sequencing/completion of pūjā—aligning with Kalpa-style procedural discipline (prayoga/vidhi) often discussed alongside Vedāṅga-oriented practice.
