The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
सिद्धद्रव्यसमेतं तु मासात्तद्भाललोचनात् । जायन्ते भीषणाः कृत्यास्ताभ्यः सिद्धिं निवेदयेत् ॥ ४६ ॥
siddhadravyasametaṃ tu māsāttadbhālalocanāt | jāyante bhīṣaṇāḥ kṛtyāstābhyaḥ siddhiṃ nivedayet || 46 ||
Namun bila disertai bahan-bahan yang telah disempurnakan, dalam sebulan dari ‘mata’ di dahi itu lahir kṛtyā-kṛtyā yang mengerikan. Kepada mereka hendaknya ia menyampaikan persembahan berupa siddhi yang dituju.

It warns that mantra-prayoga combined with “siddha” ritual substances can quickly manifest powerful and even frightening forces (kṛtyās), implying that such practices demand restraint, purity, and correct intent rather than mere power-seeking.
Indirectly, it contrasts siddhi-driven ritual power with the need for right orientation; in the Narada Purana’s broader ethos, accomplishments are to be subordinated to dharma and ultimately to devotion, not pursued as ends in themselves.
It reflects technical ritual know-how (prayoga) and mantra-application rules—knowledge aligned with Vedanga-style procedural precision (kalpa-like discipline), emphasizing correct materials (dravya), time-frame, and method of offering/declaring the intended siddhi.
