उदकैर्लिलितं पश्चाद्गलितं पैष्टिकं मधु । वृक्षजं फलजं चेति द्विविधं क्रियते मधु ॥ १७ ॥

Transliteration

udakairlilitaṃ paścādgalitaṃ paiṣṭikaṃ madhu | vṛkṣajaṃ phalajaṃ ceti dvividhaṃ kriyate madhu || 17 ||

Translation

Madu/arak manis dibuat dengan dua cara: (1) yang dari adonan/tepung—mula-mula dicampur air lalu disaring; (2) yang berasal dari tumbuhan—dari pohon atau dari buah.
