The verse reflects the Purana’s technical-ritual strand (prayoga/vidhi) within Book 1.3, showing how specific materials and procedures are believed to produce worldly influence—highlighting the text’s documentation of applied ritual science rather than a direct teaching on liberation.
This specific verse does not teach bhakti directly; it focuses on a worldly-oriented ritual result (vaśya). In the Narada Purana’s broader framework, such powers are typically subordinate to higher aims like dharma and devotion, and are not presented as the core means to moksha.
It highlights practical ritual procedure (vidhi/prayoga)—a technical application associated with the Purana’s Vedanga/auxiliary-knowledge atmosphere in Book 1.3, emphasizing correct materials and method to achieve a stated effect.
