स्वमस्तके ललाटादि दिक्ष्वष्टस्वधउर्द्ध्वतः । ह्रस्वदीर्घकादिकाष्टवर्गपूर्वान्दिशाधिपान् ॥ ४८ ॥

svamastake lalāṭādi dikṣvaṣṭasvadhaurddhvataḥ | hrasvadīrghakādikāṣṭavargapūrvāndiśādhipān || 48 ||

Pada kepala sendiri—mulai dari dahi—di delapan penjuru dan juga di atas, hendaknya menempatkan secara batin para dewa penguasa arah, menurut urutan vokal pendek‑panjang serta kelompok konsonan mulai ‘ka’ (delapan varga).
