Bhuvaneśī (Nidrā-Śakti) Mantra-vidhi, Nyāsa–Āvaraṇa Worship, Padma-homa Prayogas, and the Opening of Śrī-Mahālakṣmī Upāsanā
Narada (continuing the narration to a brāhmaṇa interlocutor within the Third Pada dialogue tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
This verse functions as a phala-shruti: it states that mere smaraṇa (devotional remembrance/recall) of the subject just described yields both bhukti (worldly welfare) and mukti (liberation), highlighting remembrance as a potent sādhanā.
By emphasizing smartṝṇām—“those who remember”—the verse elevates continuous remembrance as a core bhakti practice, implying that inner recollection can be as spiritually efficacious as external ritual.
Indirectly, it underscores the Vedāṅga-aligned discipline of correct recitation and retention (smaraṇa linked with śikṣā and chandas traditions), since remembrance and repetition are presented as producing definite results (phala).
