Kārtavīrya-kavaca-vṛttānta
नारद उवाच । साधु साधु महाप्राज्ञ सर्व तंत्रविशारद । त्वया मह्यं समाख्यातं विधानं तंत्रगोपितम् ॥ १ ॥
nārada uvāca | sādhu sādhu mahāprājña sarva taṃtraviśārada | tvayā mahyaṃ samākhyātaṃ vidhānaṃ taṃtragopitam || 1 ||
Narada berkata: “Sungguh baik, sungguh baik! Wahai yang maha bijaksana, ahli segala tantra—engkau telah menjelaskan kepadaku tata cara yang tersembunyi dalam tantra.”
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It marks Nārada’s reverent acknowledgement that authentic spiritual practice depends on correct vidhi (procedure), especially when the teaching is traditionally guarded as esoteric (tantra-gopita).
Indirectly, it supports bhakti by emphasizing faithful adherence to properly taught methods; devotion becomes effective when joined with right instruction and disciplined observance.
The verse highlights vidhi—procedural precision in ritual/technical instruction—aligned with Vedāṅga-style disciplined transmission (clear exposition of rules rather than improvisation).
