Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga
लक्षं जपेद्दशांशेन जुहुयात्पूर्ववत्सुधीः । पूर्ववत्पूजनं प्रोक्तं मंत्र स्यास्य विधानतः ॥ १४८ ॥
lakṣaṃ japeddaśāṃśena juhuyātpūrvavatsudhīḥ | pūrvavatpūjanaṃ proktaṃ maṃtra syāsya vidhānataḥ || 148 ||
Praktisi yang bijaksana hendaknya melafalkan mantra ini seratus ribu kali; lalu, sepersepuluh dari jumlah itu dipersembahkan sebagai oblation ke dalam api seperti sebelumnya. Demikian pula pemujaan ditetapkan seperti semula—itulah tata cara mantra ini.

It standardizes mantra-sadhana: sustained japa is completed and then sealed through homa and puja, showing that inner repetition should be supported by Vedic ritual completion (vidhi).
By prescribing japa and pūjana together, it frames devotion as both remembrance (mantra-japa) and reverent offering (pūjā/homa), integrating heartfelt worship with disciplined practice.
Ritual proportioning and prayoga: the rule that homa should be performed as a tenth of the japa count is a technical procedural norm used in mantra-vidhi and karma-kāṇḍa practice.
