Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga
Narada (teaching in a Vedanga/Mantra-vidya context, within the Narada Purana dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It gives the mantra-lakṣaṇa (identifiers) needed for correct mantra practice—ṛṣi, chandas, devatā, bīja, and śakti—linking the sādhaka’s japa to Hanumān as the presiding deity and to the energizing syllable “Hum”.
By naming Hanumān as the devatā and connecting the mantra to Rāmacandra, it frames devotion as disciplined worship where love and surrender are supported by precise mantra-vidhi.
Chandas (Vedic metre) and mantra-śāstra procedure: knowing the Jagatī metre and the mantra’s ṛṣi/devatā/bīja/śakti is treated as essential technical knowledge for effective recitation and ritual application.
