It gives the mantra-lakṣaṇa framework—ṛṣi, chandas, devatā, bīja, and śakti—so the mantra is approached with correct Vedic orientation and devotional focus on the Divine Mother as Sītā.
By naming Sītā as the devatā and using the auspicious bīja “śrīṃ,” it directs the practitioner toward reverent devotion to the goddess-form associated with śrī (divine fortune, grace, and protection).
Chandas (a Vedāṅga) is explicitly applied by specifying the Gāyatrī metre, a key practical step used in mantra recitation, nyāsa, and ritual correctness.
